David Tate, PhD, President

David C. Tate, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist, executive coach, and organizational consultant. His work with the Foundation has focused on strategic planning, governance, and leadership development. He is Principal at Tate Consulting Group, a boutique consultancy that focuses on executive coaching and leadership advising, privately held enterprises, and promoting healthy organizational development. David has worked with leaders and senior managers in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, publishing, human services, and construction. An Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at Yale University, David is co-author of Sink or Swim: How Lessons from the Titanic Can Save Your Family Business.
