Esperanza Diaz, MD

Esperanza Díaz is a psychiatrist providing teaching and supervision for Yale medical students, psychiatry residents, and trainees from other disciplines such as psychology, nursing and social work. She is the Medical Director of the Hispanic clinic of CMHC and she is associate professor of psychiatry and Associate Director of the Yale psychiatry residency program. Her research concentrates on adherence to medications and development of culturally sensitive mental health services to Hispanics with persistent mental disorders. Her goal in the foundation is to support culturally sensitive educational programs for the community and develop liaisons with trainees interested in the foundation.
