Mary Collins, Professor at Central Connecticut State University, and her son Donald Collins are co-authors of At The Broken Places: A Mother & Trans Son Pick Up The Pieces (2017). They will discuss how writing the book has helped them develop a more understanding relationship.

Prof. Michael J. Sernyak, MD, Director and CEO of the Connecticut Mental Health Center; Deputy Chair for Clinical Affairs and Program Development and Director of the Division of Public Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine will serve as moderator.
