Problem Solving during the Pandemic

The Yale School of Management Social Impact Consulting Club was recently featured for their work with New Haven’s Junta for Progressive Action and the Connecticut Mental Health Center. CMHC Foundation Executive Director, Kyle Pedersen, noted the impact that an outsider perspective provided in exploring the most pressing issues facing the CMHC during the pandemic. The Social Impact Consulting Club was one of the inagural winners of the Dean’s Mission & Impact Award. According to Dean Kerwin K. Charles, “These students demonstrated that rigorous thinking paired with genuine concern can have a positive impact.”
